Die Lösung der zu integrierenden Differentialgleichung \[ \frac{\partial^2 Z}{\partial r^2} + \frac 1r\,\frac{\partial Z}{\partial r} - 4\pi c \mu \frac{\partial Z}{\partial t} = 0 \] wird sonst auf analytischem Wege mittels einer Reihenentwicklung (\textit{Bessel}sche Funktion \(J_0\)) erhalten. Der Verf. schlägt einen mehr physikalischen Weg ein: Summation, die sich auf ebene, sich nach allen Richtungen kreuzende Elementarwellen erstreckt.
