1. Die Rückkehrkanten einer Schar paralleler abwickelbarer Flächen \(S\) liegen auf einer abwickelbaren Flächen \(\varSigma\) und bilden auf ihr ein System geodätischer Parallelen. Der geodätische Abstand je zweier ist gleich dem Abstande der entsprechenden Parallelflächen. Die Fläche \(\varSigma\) ist die rectificirende abwickelbare Fläche der Rückkehrkante von \(S\). Diese Sätze werden entwickelt, auf specielle Fälle angewandt, und es wird dann der Beweis für gewisse singuläre Fälle geführt.
