Eine Kritik und Vergeleichung der so massenhaft für die ``Heiratszahl'' aufgestellten Hypothesen, namentlich mit Rücksicht auf die Arbeiten von Hultsch, Gow, Tannery und auf die beiden diesem Gegenstande gewidmeten Schriften von Dupuis. Dem Hultsch'schen Resultate wird, allerdings nur bedingt, der Vorzug gegeben.
