Herr Fergola macht die Mitteilung, dass die Formel für die höheren Differentialquotienten der Functionen von 2 anderen Functionen, welche Herr Erdmann in seiner Abhandlung: ``Ueber die Variationen \(n^{\text{ter}}\) Ordnung'' (Schlömilch Z. XXVI. p. 76; siehe F. d. M. XIII. (1881) p. 303, JFM 13.0303.02) herleitet, nur ein specieller Fall derjenigen ist, die er bereits im Jahre 1858 in einer Note: Sopra due formole di Calcolo differenziale'' (Tortolini Ann. I) veröffentlicht hat.
