    Die Note betrifft die praktische Verwerthung der in der früheren Arbeit ``Sur le développement de la fonction perturbatrice etc.'' (C. R. LXXX. 1070; siehe F. d. M. VII, 283, JFM 07.0283.01) gegebenen Formel (5) für \(T_{1}\), worin für das Argument des Factors \[ \{1 + (\varPhi) \cos [2x + (\varLambda)]\} \] nicht das elliptische Integral, sondern ein Grenzwerth zu nehmen ist, so dass an die Stelle der Gleichung (5) folgende tritt: \[ \frac{T_1}{m_0'} = \frac{(1 - k_1 \varPhi_{1} \cos \varLambda) \; (1 - k_2 \varPhi_{2} \cos \varLambda_{1}) \cdots}{(1 - k_1) \; (1 - k_2) \cdots } \cdot \frac{1 - (\kappa)}{1 - (\kappa) \cos 2(u)} \{1 + (\varPhi) \cos [2(u) + (\varLambda)]\}, \] deren negative und gebrochene Exponenten sich leicht nach dem Argument \((u)\) entwickeln lassen, wonach man wieder durch eine sehr einfache Operation das Argument \(x\) an Stelle von \((u)\) einführen kann. \((\kappa)\) ist die Grenze der Grössen \(\kappa_{2}, \kappa_{3} \ldots\)
