    Bildet man \(\theta^m \equiv\varepsilon^m[L_m r^{2\mu-m} +aM_m r^{\mu-m}]\), wobei \(\mu=\frac{n-1}{2}\), und setzt \(M_\mu=0\), \(L_\mu =\varepsilon^\mu\), so ist \(\theta(\theta)\equiv r\) und \(\theta_\mu=r^\mu\). Substitutionen von der Form \(\theta\) können nur dann conjugirte Substitutionen sein, wenn \(n=7\) oder \(n=11\) ist. Im ersteren Falle hat man ein System von 4. 6. 7 Substitutionen, und die für dieses System unveränderlichen Functionen können nur 30 Werthe annehmen; für \(n=11\) erhält man ein System von 6. 10. 11 conjugirten Substitutionen, und eine Function von 11 Buchstaben, die für dieses System unveränderlich bleibt, kann also nur 60480 Werthe haben.
