Applying techniques used by \textit{P. Hellekalek} [Acta Arith. 67, 313-322 (1994; Zbl 0813.11046)] the author uses Haar functions in order to calculate the discrete star-discrepancy of simple digital \((t,m,s)\) nets, giving exact best possible estimates in interesting special cases.
