Let \(R\) be an integral domain of zero characteristic with identity. The authors consider the Hurwitz series ring \(H_R[[t]]\) of formal series \[ A(t)=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\frac{a_n}{n!}t^n\] where \(a_n\in R\). The sum is defined in an usual way and the product is the binomial convolution defined as follows \(A(t)*B(t)=C(t)\) where \(\displaystyle c_n = \sum_{i=0}^n (^n_i)a_ib_{n-i}\). The authors study many properties of the ring \(H_R[[t]]\). For example, they give an explicit expression of the inverse of an invertible element of \(H_R[[t]]\) by means of Bell polynomials. Many classical transforms on the ring \(H_R\) of the sequences with elements of \(R\), such as Invert transform, Binomial interpolated transform, Boustrophedon transform, Alternating sign transform, Stirling transform, ... etc are interpreted in the ring \(H_R[[t]]\). Let \(H_R^*\) be the group of the invertible elements of \(H_R\). The authors find interpretations for some subgroups of \(H_R^*\) in the ring \(H_R[[t]]\).
