The framization of a knot algebra, introduced by \textit{J. Juyumaya} and \textit{S. Lambropoulou} [in: New ideas in low dimensional topology. Hackensack, NJ: World Scientific. 297--333 (2015; Zbl 1326.57016)], can be roughly described as a generalization of the knot algebra by adding framing generators to the generating set that are topologically meaningful. The first example of a framization is the Yokonuma-Hecke algebra \(\text{Y}_{d, n}(u)\), which can be regarded as the framization of the Iwahori-Hecke algebra [\textit{J. Juyumaya} and \textit{S. Lambropoulou}, Topology Appl. 154, No. 8, 1804--1826 (2007; Zbl 1165.57007)]. In this paper the authors introduce and study a framization of the Hecke algebra of type B, \(\text{Y}^{\text B}_{d,n}(u, v)\), and through this algebra, they construct topological invariants for classical and framed links in the solid torus, following Jones' method. More precisely, the authors first construct a faithful tensorial representation of \(\text{Y}^{\text B}_{d,n}(u, v)\) in a certain endomorphisms algebra and they then construct two linear bases of \(\text{Y}^{\text B}_{d,n}(u, v)\) in order to show that the algebra supports a Markov trace. Finally, topological invariants of framed and classical knots and links in the solid torus are constructed through the Markov trace of \(\text{Y}^{\text B}_{d,n}(u, v)\).
