Let \(H\) be a dual quasi-Hopf algebra with non-zero integrals over a field. It was proved by \textit{D. Bulacu} and \textit{S. Caenepeel} [J. Algebra 266, No. 2, 552-583 (2003; Zbl 1030.16024)] that the antipode \(S\) of \(H\) is injective. In the paper under review the authors show that in fact \(S\) is bijective.
