The authors consider the following type of nonlinear degenerate elliptic equations (which is also called \(A\)-harmonic type equations) with natural growth: \[ -\text{div}\;A(x, \nabla u)=B(x,u,\nabla u), \] where \(u\in W^{1,p}_{loc}(\Omega, \mathbb{R})\), \(p\in (1,n]\), \(n\geq 2\) and \(\Omega\) is a bounded open subset of \(\mathbb{R}^n\). Under some construction conditions on the operators \( A(x, \nabla u)\) and \(B(x,u,\nabla u)\), the authors prove that each bounded weak solution of the above \(A\)-harmonic-type equation is locally Hölder continuous by using a density lemma and the Moser-Nash argument. Moreover, optimal regularity for the weak solutions is also obtained in this paper.
