A result by \textit{J. Sturm} [Number theory, Semin. New York 1984/85, Lect. Notes Math. 1240, 275--280 (1987; Zbl 0615.10035)] says that if the Fourier coefficients of an elliptic modular form belong to \(\mathcal O_{\mathcal L}\), the ring of integers of a number field \(\mathcal L\), and if sufficiently many Fourier coefficients belong to a prime ideal \(\beta\) of \(\mathcal O_{\mathcal L}\) then all the Fourier coefficients lie in \(\beta\). In the paper under review the authors derive the analogous result for Jacobi forms.
