In [Ann. Inst. Fourier 49, No.~1, 287-302 (1999; Zbl 0926.32025)] the author has established analogous criteria to those of Nakai-Moishezon which ensure that a given smooth real \(\overline\partial\partial\)-closed \((1,1)\)-form on a compact complex Kähler surface \(X\) is \(\overline\partial\partial\)-homologous to a positive \((1,1)\)-form. The paper under review generalizes this result by showing that the same criteria also hold for any compact complex surface \(X\). The methods of proof are essentially the same as in the above quoted paper.
