Let \(\theta,\varphi\) be automorphisms of a ring \(R\). An additive map \(\delta\colon R\to R\) is called a Jordan triple \((\theta,\varphi)\)-derivation if \(\delta(xyx)=\delta(x)\theta(y)\theta(x)+\varphi(x)\delta(y)\theta(x)+\varphi(x)\varphi(y)\delta(x)\) for all \(x,y\in R\). It is shown that this map must be a \((\theta,\varphi)\)-derivation if \(R\) is a 2-torsionfree semiprime ring. Further, an additive map \(F\colon R\to R\) is called a generalized Jordan triple \((\theta,\varphi)\)-derivation if there exists a Jordan triple \((\theta,\varphi)\)-derivation \(\delta\colon R\to R\) such that \(F(xyx)=F(x)\theta(y)\theta(x)+\varphi(x)\delta(y)\theta(x)+\varphi(x)\varphi(y)\delta(x)\) for all \(x,y\in R\), and shown that \(F\) is a generalized \((\theta,\varphi)\)-derivation if \(R\) is 2-torsionfree and semiprime.
