Quasi-hereditary algebras are defined by an inductive process. The authors try to develope techniques for the computation of Hochschild cohomology via this inductive process. In particular they succeed in computation of the Hochschild cohomology of Temperley-Lieb algebras and representation-finite Schur algebras.
