The general form of bobwhite quail population model can be written as \[ x_{n+1}=ax_n+\frac{bx_n}{( 1+x_{n-k}^p) ^c},\quad n=0,1,\dots ,\tag{*} \] where \(0<a<1<a+b\), \(p,c\in (0,\infty)\) and \(k\) is a nonnegative integer. The authors obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for all solutions of (*) to oscillate. Sufficient conditions has been obtained for all positive solutions of (*) to be nonoscillatory.
