The authors consider a mixed problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. A typical behaviour for the nonlinear interaction function is a cubic growth. It is shown that, under suitable assumptions on the initial data, the problem admits at most one weak solution. The proof makes use of variants of Trudinger's inequality.
