The Cauchy-Kovalevskaya extension in Clifford analysis is a particular application of the general theorem used to construct null solutions of the Dirac operator on m dimensional space which equal a certain function on an imbedded subspace of one dimension lower. In this paper this method is extended to the framework of discrete Clifford analysis, a theory that defines a Dirac operator on Clifford algebra valued function on a mesh. Since the relevant operators satisfy the same relations as in the continuous theory, the Cauchy-Kovalevskaya extension formally takes the same expression. This extension yields an isomorphism between discrete polynomials in one dimension lower and discrete monogenic polynomials. Finally special attention is drawn to the example of the extension of the discrete delta function.
