In this paper, the authors investigate the ordered $3$-partitions of a multiset $M$ having equal sums. They obtain the generating function for the number of these partitions and give a useful integral formula. Some particular instances related to the number of solutions for the $3$-signum equation are studied in this context. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1409.68021].
