Concave duality: Application to problems dealing with difference of functions (Q1116083): Difference between revisions

The author shows that the perturbation used by \textit{J. F. Toland} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 66, 399-415 (1978; Zbl 0403.90066)] to study duality leads to a marginal function which satisfies useful variational relations. A new type of duality is then obtained by computing the second concave conjugate of this marginal function. Its relationship with Toland's duality is carefully studied.
