    Ist \(x=(x_ 1,x_ 2,...,x_ k)\) eine Partition (dh.: \(k\in {\mathbb{N}}\), \(x_ i\in {\mathbb{N}}\), \(x_ 1\geq x_ 2\geq...\geq x_ k>0)\), dann sei \(d(x):=k\) und \(| x|:=x_ 1+...+x_ k\). Für zwei Partitionen x und y sei \(x\geq y\) genau dann, wenn für alle \(j\in {\mathbb{N}}\) gilt: \(x_ 1+...+x_ j\geq y_ 1+...+y_ j.\) Jeder Partition x mit d(x)\(\leq n\) entspricht genau ein dominantes Gewicht g(x) von \(SO(2n+1,{\mathbb{C}})\). Es seien g(x) und g(y) dominante Gewichte von \(SO(2n+1,{\mathbb{C}})\) und Q(n) sei die Multiplizität von g(y) in der durch g(x) bestimmten einfachen Darstellung von \(SO(2n+1,{\mathbb{C}})\). Der Autor beweist: Genau dann ist Q(n)\(\neq 0\), wenn \(x\geq y\). Falls \(x\geq y\), dann ist Q(n) ein Polynom in n vom Grad [(\(| x| -| y|)/2]\). Für Sp(n,\({\mathbb{C}})\) und O(2n,\({\mathbb{C}})\) werden analoge Aussagen bewiesen.
