Let \(\tau :[0,+\infty )\longrightarrow [ 0,+\infty )\) be continuous, \( U\subset \mathbb{R}^{n}\) be a bounded domain of class \(C^{1,\tau }\) and \( f:Hom(\mathbb{R}^{n},\mathbb{R}^{N})\to \mathbb{R}\) be an integrand of class \(C^{2}\) with polynomial growth of order \(p\geq 2\). The main result of the paper gives a sufficient condition for an almost minimizer \(u\in W^{1,p}(U,\mathbb{R}^{N})\) of the variational integral \( \mathcal{F}(u)=\int_{U}f(Du)dx\) to be of class \(C^{1}\) on a neighborhood of \( x_{0}\in \partial U\) and \(Du\) to have a modulus of continuity of a particular type.
