The authors assume that the eigenvalue problem for a tensor-block matrix of any order and of any even rank is solved and consider some of its applications. They express the velocities of the wave propagation phenomena in some unbounded media (such as micropolar solids and classical materials with cubic symmetry or transversal isotropy) by means of the eigenvalues of material objects.
