In this paper, the second order Cucker-Smale (C-S) flocking model is studied. The temporal dynamics of such model is governed by ordinary differential equations. The authors investigate the prediction of formation of multi-cluster flocking and the critical coupling strength. The following questions form the complete cluster predictability problem: determination of clustering number; structure of emergent multi-clusters; construction of a finite sequence of coupling strengths. In the paper under consideration, the complete cluster predictability problem is addressed for the C-S model in a one-dimensional setting. An explicit algorithm is developed in order to classify the completely determination of the asymptotic features from given initial configurations and the coupling strength. Several numerical simulations are provided to confirm the analytical results obtained in the paper.
