We prove that on any finite-dimensional Teichmüller space T(p,n) (which corresponds to the Riemann surfaces of finite conformal type (p,n) with \(m=3p-3+n>0)\) there exists a continuous plurisubharmonic function \(\rho\) (x) which tends to zero for \(x\to \infty\) (in the Teichmüller-Kobayashi metric). Under holomorphic imbedding of T(p,n) as a bounded subdomain in \(C^ m\) this function becomes continuous in the closure of T(p,n) also. That gives an affirmative answer for a question posed by M. Gromov.
