A linear operator equation of the first kind \(Au = f\) is investigated. It is assumed that the solution \(u\) contains two common types of signals irregularity: sharp bends and jump discontinuities (which are natural features, e.g., in image processing). In order to design a stable numerical method, the modified Tikhonov method with a stabilizer in the form of the sum of three functionals (\(u = u_1 + u_2 + u_3\)) is proposed. Each of the functionals addresses the specific character of the corresponding component of the desired solution. The efficiency of proposed approach is demonstrated on a linear Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. The reader is also referred to [\textit{V. V. Vasin} and \textit{A. L. Ageev}, Ill-posed problems with a priori information. Utrecht: VSP (1995; Zbl 0840.65048)].
