The authors show the existence of a one-parameter family of isolas in a general class of weighted boundary value problems of super-linear indefinite elliptic type. To this end they use some continuation techniques based on the implicit function theorem combined with the topological degree. Moreover, they discuss the results of some numerical computations that they have carry for a simple one-dimensional prototype model.
