The authors consider a linear Poisson problem posed in a domain that is periodically perforated along the boundary. The homogeneous Neumann boundary condition is posed on the exterior boundary, while at the boundary of the cavities the authors prescribe homogeneous Dirichlet condition. The main results are the convergence of the \(\varepsilon\)-dependent solutions, eigenvalues and eigenvectors to the corresponding objects of the limit problem. From the practical perspective, it would be interesting to see how much these results do depend on the choice of that Dirichlet boundary condition at the boundary of the perforations. A relevant question in this context is: Could one impose there a nonhomogeneous linear Robin boundary condition (relevant for many applications) and still get similar results?
