After discussing relevant existing (but more special) papers, the authors derive three-dimensional Green's functions of point forces in infinite anisotropic bimaterials, using the method of Fourier transform. The Green's functions are given as a sum of a full-space Green's function in an explicit form, and a complementary part in terms of simple regular line-integrals, which can be solved numerically. Especially, a transversely isotropic and an orthotropic half-space and a bimaterial are considered. Many numerically worked out examples for the state of stresses and displacements show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
