This paper deals with real-time systems (RTS) and is devoted to calculate limiting values of availability and loss penalty function for RTS with large number of servers. The authors obtain optimal assignment/routing probabilities which maximize/minimize these performance measures. They present both some numerical results and some ideas for further research.
