An analysis of the boundary layer flow is presented for the particular model of non-Newtonian inelastic Reiner-Philippoff fluid. It is proved that similarity solutions of laminar boundary layer equations exist only for the case of flow over a \(90^ \circ\) wedge. Moreover, a general formulation is given which enables solutions of the boundary layer equations for any body shape by a numerical finite-difference technique. As an illustration of the method presented, the Blasius solution, i.e. the case of the boundary layer over a flat plate, is discussed in greater detail.
