On-line tracing supervisory control of discrete-event dynamic systems based on outlooking (Q1805988): Difference between revisions

The authors propose the on-line tracing supervisory control scheme to overcome the complexity problems of the conventional off-line approach and the conservativeness issues of the limited lookahead control policy. They present the definition and algorithm for an outlook number, and the control policy for an on-line tracing supervisor based on this outlook number. The authors show that the proposed scheme does not require any type of overall composed models. These results are illustrated on an example.
