Test particles moving under the influence of a coupled Einstein-Yang- Mills Higgs field are treated in the presymplectic formulation of particle gauge theory. Based on the Marsden/Weinstein reduced phase space the method of Montgomery for Wong's equations is generalized to accommodate the additional Higgs field. The approach leads to a complete set of equations of motion in the presymplectic evolution space. Particularly intriguing is the equation for the effective mass (the ``mass spectrum'') as a function of isospin and the Higgs field.
