Moduli of continuity and Fourier coefficients (Q1358605): Difference between revisions

The author introduced [Usp. Mat. Nauk 8, No. 6(58), 133-141 (1953; Zbl 0052.06103)] the conditions \(A\) and \(A'\) (and their generalizations \(A_{m}\) and \(A_m')\) for the equivalence of the convergence of series and integrals coming from the Weyl factors for the convergence almost everywhere of trigonometric series. There are discussed applications to the unconditional convergence almost everywhere and absolute summability of trigonometric series and to theorems on Haar systems (cf. also \textit{P. L. Ul'yanov} [Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 333, No. 2, 157-160 (1994; Zbl 0828.42016)]). Moreover, the conditions \(A\) and \(A'\) and their generalizations are shown to imply the Bari conditions \(B\) and \(B_{k}\) and the Zygmund conditions \(Z\) and \(Z_{k}\) published in 1955-1956.
