The authors study the problem of existence and multiplicity of solutions for a non-homogeneous fourth order Yamaba type equation \[ \Delta^2 u=|u|^{p-1}u+f \quad \text{on } \Omega,\qquad u=\Delta u=0 \quad \text{ on } \partial \Omega. \] It is obtained a family of solutions concentrating at two points, provided the domain contains one hole, and it is given a multiplicity result if the domain has multiple holes. It is also proved a multiplicity result for vanishing positive solutions in a general domain.
