This paper deals with the generalization of a discrete model of the inner product associated with a distribution function, called a typical inner product. More precisely, the authors analyze a discretization of the usual inner product and compare it with the typical inner product which appears in the theory of moments and Gaussian quadratures. An interesting expression for the \(n\)-th moments is also obtained.
