This article is devoted to the study of the energetic evolution for a set of dislocation lines when a three-dimensional single crystal is considered. An existence result is obtained. The situation is that the variational problem is defined by a polyconvex stored elastic energy, a dislocation energy and some high-order terms. To model the dislocations integral one-currents are used. A novel dissipation structure for such currents that will serve to drive the evolution of the dislocation clusters is considered and discussed.
