The paper under review studies finite dimensional algebras R over an algebraically closed field K with the property (*) Two indecomposable modules with the same dimension type are isomorphic. The author proves necessary conditions for the validity of the condition (*): In Theorem A he states that in this case (1) R is representation finite, and (2) for any non-isomorphic primitive idempotents e and f, \(\dim_ KeRf\leq 1\) and \(eRfRe=0\) holds. In Theorem B five conditions for the Gabriel quiver \(Q_ R\) of an algebra R satisfying (*) are given. Stating all of them would need a lot of definitions; so let us give for example the first one: Every simple oriented path (that is a path without self-intersections) from x to itself (x any vertex in \(Q_ R)\) is interlaced to a non-special oriented path at x. (A cyclic path \((x| \alpha_ 1,...,\alpha_ n| x)\) is called special if \(\alpha_ n...\alpha_ 2\neq 0\) and \(\alpha_{n- 1}...\alpha_ 1\neq 0.)\) {\S}1 is devoted to the proof of Theorem A, in {\S}{\S}2-4 Theorem B is shown.
