The author proposes a numerical method for the solution of singularly perturbed systems of linear two-point boundary value problems. First, a partial decoupling transformation is applied to obtain an essentially independent subsystem for the slow component. Then, different, second- order accurate difference schemes are applied to solve the slow and the remaining fast components. Two test examples are provided to illustrate the proposed numerical method and to demonstrate its efficiency.
