The author derives estimates of the weighted \(L_2\) norms of the second-order derivatives of eigenvectors in a thin anisotropic heterogeneous plate \(\Omega_h\). The majorants of the norms depend on the plate thickness \(h\) and on the eigenvalue number. These estimates keep the asymptotic sharpness along the whole spectrum while, inside its low frequency range, the marjorants remain bounded for \(h\to+0\). This is a new and unexpected fact as an appropriate example of the behaviour of the first eigenfunction \(u^1\) of the alike boundary value problem for a scalar second-order partial differential equation shows: \[ \bigl\|\nabla_x^2u^1; L_2(\Omega_h)\bigr\|= O(h^{-1}), \quad h\to+0. \]
