The author considers time optimal control problems for the Holling-Tanner model of the form \[ \dot x_1= r\left(1-{x_1\over k}\right) x_1- {wx_1x_2\over d+ x_1}- mu_1 x_1,\quad \dot x_2= s\left(1- {vx_2\over x_1}\right) x_2- nu_2 x_2. \] The Pontryagin maximum principle is applied for a qualitative analysis of time-optimal trajectories. Procedures for the numerical construction of switching lines and optimal trajectories are presented.
