Let \(G\) be a locally compact topological group, \(X\) a locally compact topological space, \(C(X)\) the algebra of continuous functions on \(X\) vanishing at infinity, \(A\) an \(\mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z}\) - graded separable \(G-\)algebra, \(0\to I @>i>> A@>p>> A/I\to 0\) an equivariant extension of \(A\), and \(RKK_G(X,-,-)\) be Kasparov's bifunctor on the category of \(G-C(X)\)-algebras [see \textit{G. G. Kasparov}, J. Oper. Theory 4, 133--150 (1980; Zbl 0456.46059)]. The purpose of this note is to prove that equivariance of the cross section \(s\) of \(p\) imposed by S. Baaj [see \textit{S. Baaj} and \textit{G. Skandalis}, \(K\)-Theory 2, 683--721 (1989; Zbl 0683.46048)] for the construction of their hexagonal exact sequences in equivariant \(KK\)-theory is not necessary in the case of an amenable transformation group \((X,G)\) in Anantharaman-Delaroche's sense [see \textit{C. Anantharaman-Delaroche}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 354, 4153--4178 (2002; Zbl 1035.46039)]. So, under the hypothesis of existence of a complemently positive, grading preserving cross section \(s\) of \(p\), of norm 1, the existence of an isomorphism \[ {\mathcal R}KK_G(X;A,-)\simeq{\mathcal R}KK_G(X;A\widehat{\otimes}_{C(X)}{\mathcal A}_X(H),-) \] is proved. This isomorphism and the existence of exact sequences for proper algebras allows the author to extend the six-term exact sequences to such amenable actions.
