The author studies impulsive nonlinear Fredholm integral equations such as the following \[ x(t)=\int^ T_ 0H(t,s,x(s))ds+\sum_{0<t_ k<t}I_ k(x(t_ k)) \tag{1} \] The fixed point index theory is used for investigating the multiple positive solutions of equation (1). Under hypothesis on \(H\) and \(I_ k\) a theorem is given proving the existence of at least two positive solutions. Applications to multiple positive solutions of two-point boundary value problems for impulsive ordinary differential equations are given.
