Lidl, Müller and Oswald recently defined the notion of a strong Dickson pseudoprime to a parameter \(c\). These numbers seem to be very appropriate for a fast probabilistic prime number test. In this article, the results of the above mentioned authors are generalized. The optimal parameter \(c\) for the prime test number is determined.
