The dynamical properties of the action of two classes of \(n\times n\) non-negative matrices on the simplex of idempotent measures on a set of \(n\) points is studied. The first comprises matrices with at least one zero row; the second comprises all matrices with exactly one positive entry in each row and each column. Fixed points for the action are found, and the dynamical systems generated by linear maps on the space of idempotent measures are studied.
