The authors establish the strong compactness of approximate solutions for the scalar conservation laws \(\partial_t n(t,x)+ \mathrm{div}(a(t,x)f(n(t,x)))=0\) equipped with some nonlocal and nonlinear relations between the direction field \(a\) and the density \(n\). As a consequence, they prove the existence of entropy solutions to such equations.
