A fuzzy closure operator is a natural analogue of closure operator and the authors introduce the topological modification of a fuzzy closure operator (with u - a fuzzy closure operator and (X,u) a fuzzy closure space, for any \(A\in I^ X\), \(u^*A\) is taken to be \(\cap C_ A\) where \(C_ A\) is the family of all u-closed fuzzy subsets containing A). It is shown that \(u^*: I^ X\to I^ X\) is a topological fuzzy closure operator called the topological modification of u. Further it is shown that \(u^*\) is the finest topological fuzzy closure operator coarser than u.
