Der Aufsatz bietet eine ausführliche und bestens dokumentierte Darstellung von J. Keplers Polyedertheorie. Einleitend werden die Vorläufer besprochen: Euklid, Pacioli, Dürer. Die Definitionen und die Methoden von Kepler werden ausführlich dargelegt und sowohl die regulären wie auch die 13 (bzw. 14) Archimedischen Körper beschrieben und abgebildet. Ein Abschnitt ist den Rhomboedern gewidmet. Ausführungen über die Sternpolyeder, wovon Kepler deren zwei entdeckte, beschließen die Arbeit.
