On the real secondary classes of transversely holomorphic foliations. II (Q1423890): Difference between revisions

In his further study of the real secondary classes of transversely holomorphic foliations, the author describes completely the mapping which relates the real secondary classes to the complex secondary classes when the codimension of the foliation is either 2 or 3, thus extending the results known for the codimension one found by him in the first part [Ann. Inst. Fourier 50, No. 3, 995--1017 (2000; Zbl 0964.58018)]. In order to accomplish this, he provides an algorithm to find a basis of the space of complex secondary classes. Finally, he finds a condition under which the image of real secondary classes is naturally reduced.
