Topological automata are generalized to the case that the underlying topological spaces are fuzzy topological spaces. In a natural way this gives a category of fuzzy topological automata with the category of topological automata as a full subcategory. Furthermore, it is shown that each fuzzy topological automaton can be seen as a fuzzy topological Mealy-automaton and can be connected with an equivalent fuzzy topological Moore-automaton.
